New Ultra Modern Rehabilitation Unit Opens At Methodist

Opening this week is the new $6 Million, 30-bed inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia, CA. Located on the third-floor of the six-story Berger Tower, the newly renovated unit will provide needed rehabilitation services to the greater San Gabriel Valley community for patients recovering from debilitating injuries and illnesses. As part of the renovation, the existing 20,000.00 SF Med-Surg Unit was converted to a patient-focused, therapeutic rehabilitative space designed to promote healing and wellness. The project meets the current building code and licensing requirements, while providing state-of- the–art spaces including a Physical and Occupation Therapy Gym, Speech Therapy, Activity of Daily Living Suite, Dining, Recreation and outdoor Zen Garden.

Centralized Nurse Station

Centralized Nurse Station

Remodeled to not only provide a nurturing care setting for patients and caregivers, patient rooms were outfitted with new ceiling mounted Patient lifts, cutting-edge technology and IT system to optimize patient and staff safety. A centralize nurse station with supervision to all patient rooms allows staff to maximize their efficiency and spend most of their time providing care and training to patients to prepare them to go back to their
normal life.
