JOSE LARCO, AIA
Promoted to Principal. Since joining PDA in 2011, Jose has played an integral role managing a variety of PDA’s healthcare projects, providing leadership in the development of the firm’s contract documents, and mentoring junior staff. He brings over 14 years of architectural design expertise managing projects from conceptual design to construction completion.

PETER SCHUBIN, AIA
Promoted to Senior Associate. Peter brings over 35 years of professional experience, 15 of which have been focused on healthcare design, to PDA’s clients on projects as far ranging as acute care and clinic renovations at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to a master plan for the Department of Veterans Affairs at their Long Beach campus. Peter joined the firm in 2004.

WILLIAM ANAYA, AIA
Named an Associate and promoted to Project Manager. William joined the firm in August 2015 bringing more than 20 years of leadership and design experience to PDA. His people skills and attention to detail enhance every project he leads.
“Healthcare design is unique because you’re designing an environment to promote health and well-being. As a designer, you have to be conscious of the patient’s experience, which is equally important as addressing the users’ needs. At PDA, we strive to build a collaborative relationship with our clients to help achieve both goals. I’m happy to be a part of PDA’s team to help work towards that mission.”
Promoted to Designer – Job Captain. Arlie joined the firm as a Designer-Drafter in March 2016. She brings technical proficiency, a willingness to take on new challenges, and a great sense of humor to PDA and all her projects.
“The relationship between people and architecture has always fascinated me. In healthcare especially, the role that architecture has in supporting overall well-being is critical, and I’m excited to be part of the team at PDA as we strive to find ways to strengthen that relationship.”
Promoted to Designer – Job Captain. Shemiki joined the firm Arlie joined the firm as a Designer-Drafter in May 2015. Shemiki has been promoted in recognition of her design abilities, initiative to take on new tasks and collaborative approach to projects.

Promoted to Designer-Drafter. Tidus joined the firm as Junior Designer in August 2017. In recognition of his attention to detail, consistently high standards of work, and increased responsibilities, Tidus is well deserving of this promotion.
